It took me a while to get this post together, but I got to go back to Michigan to see the family for Thanksgiving and wanted to post about it! First thing I did was the official eating of a Parmenters donut, seen here:
After a great Thanksgiving with the family (and a not so great Lions game, but we’re used to that) I got ready for an epic weekend in Ann Arbor! I wore my maize and blue and got pumped up to see possibly our first victory over Ohio State in eight years. I was able to catch up with a bunch of friends and hit some great tailgates. The game did not disappoint! Both teams put a lot of points on the board but Michigan held on at the end for the victory!
The aftermath was surreal as students rushed the field, and the I felt the weight of the rivalry and relished the feeling of victory after the last four very rough seasons. It was great to be back in Michigan to experience the end of fall, and I am so fortunate to have such great family and friends! The Soloists are brewing up some stuff for the holidays, so get excited!
