Alright, alright. I’m finally back to the blog for the new year. It certainly took me long enough! I know that Eric has been hard at work with his songs, and I really hope that you’re all checking out his latest EP. The recordings are excellent!
I’ll try and keep everyone more up-to-date with what I’m up to, as I’ve been quite busy in 2012. That picture represents the majority of my time over the last 6 weeks: lesson planning! I’m student teaching this semester, and I’ll graduate in May. I couldn’t tell you how many hours I sit staring at those blank planning pages, thinking of what to do in the classroom. These weeks have been eye-opening, challenging, and quite fun, but they’ve also made me think about a future in grad school. This is my main focus, so I haven’t spent too much time at the piano.
Still, I’m working on 
a batch of new tracks that I plan on recording soon. I need to set aside more time to work on good songs. I’m going for a certain kind of feel with my new songs, trying to experiment with different sounds and lyrics. Stay tuned! Also, I’ll review The Fray’s new CD soon!
